My Approach
Every individual seeks a sense of purpose and wholeness in their life. This can be difficult with all the changes we experience throughout a lifetime - whether we want to or not! The loss of meaning can create a number of feelings in our day-to-day lives such as disconnection, grief, anxiety, and pain. My goal is to help people gain awareness of their past and how it informs their present. In my experience working in a variety of settings, I have seen that people unconsciously live their lives according to stories that no longer serve them. Through our relationship, we will create an environment that will inspire awareness, call for authentic feelings to be expressed, cultivate self-compassion, and allow for a new story to emerge. Together, I help you connect to who you want to be in the world. I provide an environment that consists of compassion, non-judgment, and a deep appreciation for the change process.
Services
Individual Therapy
I work relationally and believe the therapeutic relationship is what sets the tone for change. I believe in meeting each person where they are and listening in order to discern the intention for being in therapy. Together we will create an environment for you to gain awareness of the issues you are struggling with and then re-connect to your inner healing powers.
Couples Therapy
Being in a relationship can be hard and I’m here to help! I find that couples come to me when needs aren’t being met and they are no longer able to see and hear each other. My goal is to provide a safe and respectful environment so both people can come together to work. Using an Integrative approach that incorporates Imago dialogue, we will work to improve communication and emotional attunement.
